Instruct us now

We are an industry leader within the specialist field of overhead line compensation services. In recent years, we have negotiated with the electricity companies (those who maintain the power network of pylons, poles, wire and cables) and agreed financial payments for our clients in recognition of the impact the equipment has on their property.

Electricity companies should have a legal agreement in place for their equipment sited on private land; either a wayleave or an easement.

The type of legal agreement and level of compensation will depend on whether your equipment is High Voltage or Low Voltage.

Electricity Equipment – The Different Types:

We negotiated £45+ million for our clients over 12 months

You could be eligible for compensation if:

  • You are the registered owner of the property
  • Any part of the electrical equipment is on or crossing over your property and the line goes on to serve another land owner
  • Compensation has not been agreed previously (we will establish this for you if it is uncertain)

What are the costs involved?

We charge 20% commission plus VAT of the total negotiated compensation. There is no cost for an assessment of your situation and there will be no fee charged for our time if we find you do not have an eligible claim.

Timescale

Depending on the complexity and the electricity company, most of our claims are completed within 18 months and some take less than three months.
